Going back…

To my old blog. I miss blog spot a lot. Love you all… read at angelablake.blogspot.com

My little joys.

My little joys.

The Bay

The dental hygienist suggested that I should move back to San Francisco because “It is the best place to be allergy free.” I live in probably one of the worst places for allergies. How did I move from the best place to breathe to a place where I am constantly crying or sneezing?

Mmm… God I am going to leave this one up to you.

But I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough, can you see the stars.

I love seeing math problems written on the black top.

Serious problem

I need some help. For reals. At least 4 times a day, I get a giggle attack. Where am I all day though? Not at a comedy club or even with people my age… I am teaching 7 and 8 year olds. They are so funny!

Like beyond funny. I am convinced that Ms. Sizer and I have the ultimate class- full of personality and charisma… and they are smart learners too!

What a deal.

Today I learned that kids at my school love kool aid pickles. WHAT! Now only are they obsessed with hot chips and anything hot for that matter, but pickles soaked in kool aid? Haha, my goodness.
I love my life.

Wow…

I really forgot about this! I need to start this up again.

I will share a piece of joy that has come to me recently. I really have fallen in love with teaching. So much so, that I am thinking of continuing my studies in education after MTR. I really love teaching in urban schools. I love the African American community. There is a need here. All over the country. If education is the most important thing to me, why would I not be teaching?

I find so much joy when teaching. My students enthuse me. At the end of the day, when I sort out their exit tickets and see how they did for the day, I am so happy when I see that the majority of my students mastered my objective. Most days that is!

Things are coming together. They really are. I really didn’t know when this day would come. But here it is :) Thanks Lord.
